Flowerdale/Strath Creek - Visitor Information

Location: 130 kms North East of Melbourne

Things To Do:

Conference centre, Cricket Memorabilia Gallery and Ground, Mountain Railway and Museum, Alpaca studs, Horse Riding, Scenic Drives, Bush Walking, Fishing, Country Hotels and accommodation.

Flowerdale and Strath Creek are both situated on the King Parrot Creek, Whilst Kerrisdale is by the Goulburn River. There are a number of scenic fishing spots that the whole family will enjoy. The natural bush land surrounding the area makes it an ideal place for scenic drives and bush walking.

An easy drive up the Hume Highway, via Murchison Gap for scenic views of an area the locals call the "Valley of a Thousand Hills", Strath Creek hosts the famous Hume & Hovel cricket ground which has a substantial gallery of cricket memorabilia.

There is a magnificent getaway resort facility between Flowerdale and Strath creek too. Both towns have a good old fashioned pub to quench your thirst and satisfy your appetite.
