Yea/Glenburn/Highlands/Ruffy - Visitor Information

Location: 109kms North East of Melbourne

Things To Do:

Scenic drives, shopping, cafes, restaurants, golf, fishing, tennis, bowls, galleries, antique stores, walks.

Yea is situated at the junction of the Melba Highway and Goulburn Valley highways approximately 100 kms from Melbourne. It is a very attractive town with its extra wide main street and historic buildings.

Yea hosts some of the region's best restaurants, pubs and cafes and is a major stopping point for visitors heading to Lake Eildon, the snowfields or for those out for a weekend in the country. There is a wide variety of accommodation in and around the town with several very nice B&B's and cottages at Glenburn.

Caveat and the Highlands are situated in the mountains above Yea and provide one of the prettiest scenic drives in this region. Caveat is also home to one of our more established wineries, Antcliffe's Chase Wines. The views are spectacular with Jack Valley Lookout being a popular scenic lookout.
